4500 Floating Lift, Single Tank, Front Mount Boat Lifts
The 4500 lb. capacity standard lift is the perfect choice for the small to medium size crafts up to about 24'. This boat lift fits in slips from 8' to 10' wide. It is designed for a standard U-shaped slip in a floating dock & has a 2-point connection configuration that fits at the front of the boat slip. There's a reason why Boat Lift Distributors remains #1 in the boat lift industry. For example, we use a square tank system which provides more surface area on the water as opposed to the round tank system which has minimal surface are contact. Look at the (2) side by side, the round tank with less surface area will rock more than the square tank system that can handle the "shock load" of a wave. The round tank floating boat lift will rock more thus creating more stress on your mounting brackets which will eventual weaken over time. Logic & good old fashion hard work is why Boat Lift Distributors remains #1 in the boat lift industry.
FEATURES
1. Roto-molded Polyethylene tanks that are totally enclosed and carry a lifetime warranty to the original purchaser. 2. US Steel that has been hot dip galvanized to make your boat lift purchase a lasting investment. 3. Poly (UMHW) bushings in arms. 4. Lockable deck mounted control boxes for security and ease of operation. 5. A safety valve mounted in the tank to help secure your lift when you're not around. 6. A ground fault interrupter for your protection against electrocution. Selling Points - This lift has been using polyethylene tanks since 1994.
- We do not use our tanks for structural support. The tank is only used to raise and lower our frame work. We use more steel in our lifts than most competitors.
- When pulling a boat in a boat slip using our lift we have no dock brackets or rails for the boat to hit and possibly cause damage to the boat. Some companies claim that all of their metal parts are above the water when the lift is up. We feel it is better to protect the boat than the boat lift which is why we use heavier gauge tubing and ¼ to 3/8 flat steel on parts that are under water when the lift is raised.
- All moving parts ride on plastic or nylon bushings that are made to last-not to service later.
- Our lifts are more stable in the water for 2 reasons:
1.We have more surface area of tank in the water. 2. A single tank does not allow the "rocking" or "twisting" other lifts may have. 6. All of our lifts come with a safety valve for long term storage. 7. We support the boat more evenly aft to stern with at least 4 bunk brackets on each bunk board. It is interesting that some of the tube tank lift manufacturers have said that our lift with the "square" tanks will not withstand rough water. Have you noticed what they use now? Looks like we are the leader rather than the follower in the industry. Call Boat lift Distributors for further details on this lift or many of the other world class models offered. 800-657-9998
