This little boat lift gem is cool and it will get you out of a bind. If your power ever goes out you can manually over-ride the lift with the attachment. Simply afix to the end of a 1/2" cordless drill, remove the 10" fly wheel off the gear plate & spin it down. Note, make sure to wrap a tight rubber band around key weight, or duct tape, to ensure it doesn't fly off & land in the water. Happy Boating
