If you've read my review of the momentary switch like this, you'll know why I recommend this lock-on model. I had one of these lock-on switches on my old boat dock for years and it still operates perfectly. The convenience of being able to lock this switch on, then return to the boat to steady it while the lift brings it up during rough water or windy conditions makes this lock-on switch the way to go. It is, however, possible to turn this switch on, walk away to do something else while the boat is raising, and hear your wakeboard tower or windshield crunch against the top of your boat dock. D'Oh! Just watch how much you drink while you're out boating and you'll be fine with this lock-on model. BTW, Boat Lift Distributors' customer service gets 5-stars!
